We aim to reach the altitude of 150,000 feet and break the current student altitude record. But our ambitions are much broader than a number.
Operation Space is not backed by any single university, company, or investor. Unlike most student-led rocket projects, we are a group focused on collaboration rather than competition, taking in the brightest and most creative minds from across the nation.
May, June, and July will be remote work amongst students- designing the rockets, researching components, and ordering parts. Early August will be build week, where we will be assembling and testing the rocket at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
This mission is nothing without the incredible people behind it. See who's already on board.
